14 Mile Farm wraps are a dream!

I currently weave 14 Mile Farm wraps in the upstairs of my home.  I weave on an 8-shaft Gilmore jack-style loom and on an 8 shaft Nilus LeClerc jack-style loom.  The small loom is a Harrisville Baby Wolf and resides at my mother's house in town.

I design warps based on inspiration from life, art, photographs, history, poems, nature... or something else that catches my muse! Each warp produces 3-5 sister wraps.  One warp may take a month or more to finish.  Wraps will become available for purchase as they come off of the loom.

Slots to purchase wraps will be announced on the blog, on Facebook, in the Chatter Group and/or on Instagram.  All slots will be chosen by random draw.

All wraps (and other woven items) come wet finished and ready to use.

Items should be washed on cold, delicate and air-dried, or tumbled dry on low heat unless otherwise specified on the label.

I recommend using 7th Generation's free and clear detergent with the exception of wraps containing wool content.  A wool-safe wash such as Eucalan or Woolite is preferable.

Pricing varies according to materials and design.

Custom Wraps:

I do not offer custom slots.  I prefer to retain full creative control of the design process.  Weaving is my art form, and I have so many ideas and inspiration with which I would like to work.  I probably have enough for a lifetime!

Semi custom slots on a warp of my own design do come up on most warps.  This allows you to choose length, weft fiber, and weft color.  Check out the Chatter for more details.

Safety and Testing :

I take the safety of our wraps very seriously.  I wrap my own babe(s) with 14 Mile Farm wraps and extend the same love and care to your little ones as I do to my own.  Because each wrap is handwoven, I am able to pay impeccable attention to detail as each thread passes through my fingers to ensure the highest standards.

14 Mile Farm is in compliance with the CPSIA (Consumer Protection Safety Improvement Act).

ASTM  F2907 is the international standard used in the US for testing wraps, slings, pouches, carrier shirts and many hybrid carriers. At this time, the sling standard is voluntary. We expect to see it become mandatory in the US in February 2018.  At that time, 14 Mile Farm will be in compliance with all additional requirements.

14 Mile Farm wraps are woven in our home, which is also home to a husky and two sweet cats.  Each wrap is washed with an unscented, eco-friendly laundry soap prior to packaging.

I ship via the USPS, Priority Insured.  You will be charged at checkout for the actual cost of shipping and insurance, based on a medium sized USPS box.

Returns Policy:

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your handwoven wrap or item I will happily provide a refund. Please contact me within 5 days of receipt for the return shipping address. 14 Mile Farm can only accept returns from the original customer of brand new, unwashed, and unworn merchandise. Returns for full or partial refund cannot be accepted after the initial 5 day window.  Design deposits for custom and semi-custom pieces are non-refundable, they are a payment made for my time working with you on the design.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for return shipping.  Delivery confirmation and insurance is highly recommended. 14 Mile Farm is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged by USPS or any other delivery provider when being returned for a refund.

Refunds will be issued after the item has been received, upon verification that it is in the same condition in which it left 14 Mile Farm upon sale. Please allow at least 3 business days for the refund to be processed.

By choosing to wrap your sweet babe(s) in 14 Mile Farm handwovens you accept all responsibility for the safety of yourself and your child.  We accept no liability for use or misuse of our handwoven wraps.  Please contact a local certified babywearing educator for help in using this product.
